Quieter the better! Once a good mark becomes common knowledge eg the mull and look what happened. the marks end up like rubbish dumps strewn with discarded mono , beer cans and s@#t which is mostly due to so called anglers from the north east! Thats why people are so hush hush!

I must be losing the plot, the lad asked for generic information, if people didn't want to give up information why bother to reply in the first place? As well as that, I find the reference to report chasers a bit strange. Is it not the case that you wouldn't be on here either if you weren't doing the same thing? Here goes, and its hardly a secret.

You can get thornys and smoothies on quite a few marks on the west side of Kirkcudbright bay after you leave the bay, as well as around Rascarrell and Balcary, although its still a bit early to be honest.

There you go lads. Just general information, no specific marks mentioned as its a big area up there.
