A company in Texas USA have designed a rocket propulsion casting lead.
In trials over the salt flats in salt lake city a 6oz lead and rubber worm was cast over 450yds.
Using just a simple overhead thump these leads fly says the manufacture,no need for a powercast to get your endgear and bait out to them feeding grounds.
The leads come in sizes from 5,6,7 ozs and there is a gripwire version,These leads are not cheap at $3 a pop but they say you gotta pay for extreme distance.
One down side is you must not place the bait clip to close to the rocket lead min 10" needed as they say the lugworm could be a little singed before it hits the water.
But the upside they say when using frozen crab it defrost the the crab in flight so on entry to the water the bait is ready to catch immediate.
Yanks eh what will they think of next!!!!!!!.
