  • fishing trip to scotland

We are going to make this bank holiday into a double barrel fishing trip ,We will be leaving for loch fyne on Friday morning, and sea fishing from Friday until saturday afternoon ,we are then travelling the 30 miles or so to lock awe,for pike fishing from sat afternoon till Monday afternoon ,looking forward to the trip ,we have been going to do this sort of trip for a long time ,but this time instead of putting it off we are defo going , so any advice where to fish on loch fyne or loch awe would be welcome as we have never fished there before , we will be camping ,so will take lots of bacon sausages, and of course a bit of the amber nectar, hope everything goes ok, hope someone has some advice on where to fish, will post the results when we return ---Karl

Fished loch fyne a few times, can i hell think what the proper name is called but its by the war memorial, too be honest i would travel the extra hour and hit etive.

weve allways done well at etive with thornies to 7.8lb, spurs to 10.4lb, codling, whiting and dogs yet everytime we go there we allways drop onto loch fyne for a session on the way home and caught bugger all, but it does hoy up the odd thornie and dogs
