            dont forget

done this twice, when fishing with a mate, dont presume because they rang you to suggest going out that , thay are buying the bait, turned up twice after the phone call,, got onto the beach, set up the rod ect, then turned to my mate asking what bait did you get? his reply "thought you were getting it" --- had 20 minuets casting practice then cleared off to the pub,,

                  re hooks

A hook sharpener,, soz mate couldnt resist it, I bought a set of oil stones from the pound shop had 4or5 stones in it, one of them was a small stone about the size of a pkt of rizla, spot on for touching up a hook thats been used a few times, take a can of oil (small) with you, that allways commes in handy, also Wd 40 2 knives spare line, I could go on for hours, and take up 2 tackle boxes

always keep a check list ,hooks, line, sinkers, reels etc so you know that you have every thing in your tackle box , have done this every time i go fishing since the time i went out for a shesh opened my tackle box at the mark and realized I'd left my reels on the shelf in my garage after cleaning them.

Try walking down with your bait in a seperate bag at horden beach, then while crossing the rails you put your bait down to climb over some fences.

Then not picking it up and going to the beach and thinking !@%#. having to walk up that hill and back to get it.

Now think of it in your waders.... my waders were wetter on the inside due to me sweating my danglies off running up and down that hill lol.
