thinking of having a chuck from an area I havent tried before, dont know what its called but I can give a canny description of the area, so here goes,.. a pub, thats allways a good start, called the Deleval Arms just up from the caravan site next to St Marys Lighthouse, if you walk/drive down to the beach from the roundabout at the pub it goes down a hill to what I would call above Heartly Skeers.you walk down an old cast iron set of steps, down on to a flat set of rocks looks like a high tide spot, but not to sure, looks good at low tide casting slightly to the left, any ideas, cheers lads

hartely skeer as you look to the left from the stairs, straight infront hartley island, best fished on a big tide for safety of access on/off the island, and the crescent skeer to te left, here you cast south east into what is effectively west bay, fished it a few times over the winter club comps, got some decent fish, extremely heavy ground mind, can even fish when the sea is flat which is always a bonus (at night that is).
              hope this helps

my fav marks i fish them all the time & have had some cracking fish.
as has been said if u try the island then get off as soon as it starts 2 flood m8 until u have fished it a few times & u get a feel 4 the place. normaly get a rush of fish on the flood in winter so it tempts u 2 stay on as long as poss, the thing is when it floods it rushes through the channel & sml pepples under foot so feet can b took away.
bottom of steps along at the base of hartley skeer is the high water chuck when the sea is running from the north.
also some great reddies from these marks in summer m8 with fresh crab or second choice fresh mussel.

The flat rock at the base of the stairs is canny on a high tide, if there's any weed at all running though it can be a nightmare hauling mountains of the stuff in.
