Could,nt help myself lads bought some wishbone flattie 2 hook rigs with attracter beads and sequins for some flattie bashing. Came today 5 rigs for £6 (including postage).
Probs test sometime next week (wed or thurs).
not bad if you dont have the time to make your own. i make my own they cos about 50p each to make and i use good quality hooks like sakuma and mustard.
Have made some of my own Shaun but was unsure about wishbones. They look rather odd but no doubt are effective. 2 Baits fished close together.will let you know how they fish probs out next wed fishing low water up at the pool.
it depends how you make them, i guess you could use a small swivel on the snood and have the line with the hooks on with two beads each side of swivel and crimps then that should keep them from tangling.
personaly i think a basic two hk rig is better.
hi mick, wishbone rigs eays to make little time consuming, you can use beads or rig tubing or both with or in conjunction with sequins . have put photo up of basic wishbone with beads
one thing tho make sure crimps are pushed fairly against beads to get wishbone shape
Used one today and not impressed. Nice rig but much prefer flapper rigs.
Think on flat beaches flappers are as good as anything as it spreads the baits out. Wishbones have their place usually when you want to concentrate your catching baits together in a smaller area.
Think about what you are using your rigs for, sometimes even flappers have to be different. Maybe longer snoods, all above the lead or up and down. Most of my rigs are just variations of a few patterns. Mind you I've got some tricks to try for next winter
