I would guess that was an inshore shop your talking about Pete? Maybe just supply and demand mate as I think all of the coastal shops sell Lug all year.

Never had any problems getting supplies from the tackle shops whatever the season. I.D Fishing, McDermotts, Lewis Tackle, Billy's. Did rate Johns at Wallsend was sorry to see it go.Nothing makes a fish bigger than almost being caughtComment

theve had no lug afew times at ID fishing but that could be because i usally go on a sunday, baits not the best either, espesialy ragworm. I like the shop and all just the baits not the best there.Originally posted by big sid View PostComment

Lug has been scarce when digging this winter up here in the far north, the long cold spell has sent them much deeper down than normal.Comment
