  • need a bit help

and probably a miracle, couple of mates and i fished blythe pier today well only dinky codling and dabs taken and one blennie, so decided to call it a day finish early amd save bait for another day hopefully a decent fish or 2 will show. as one of me mates putting his rod away the top section fell through the gaps on the pier and that was it gone so any one fishing pier or that area find a bergundy coloured top section with black whipping and gold, please p m me or phone 07799323666

Has the pier not got like a trench running under the centre of it where the tip will be laying?

Waco, try going back at low water as directly under the pier its built up on either side so with a bit of luck when the tide goes out it may get trapped in the rocks or the wooden staithes underneath!
The only fish i want this year is a double figured cod!!!

Canny low tides at the weekend

Youll have to check tide times but a know there low. Might help you with getting to end of the pier, if thats where you lost it.

yup go at low tide it dont matter how low or high low the tide is you can get down on the ladders on left side as your facing the end it will still be there everything that gets dropped getts trapped ladders about 10 meters from end mate ( blyth lad 40 years lol )

If it did sink and get stuck in the rocks under the pier, you have a good chance of getting it back.
If the section is light & floats, I don't think you will find it, lucky if you do.

The steel beams that run across the pier underneath are covered in barnicles and you can get a good grip with your feet.
Just watch yourself if there is any swell on.
We don't want to hear of someone injured or killed on there.
