Ho Matey - interested in the Longbenton Club!

Several of us are members of NESA too. Club Chairman is Billy Brown who owns and runs Billy\'s Fishing Tackle in North Shields. He is always willing to tell you anything you may want to know about our Club - you can also join at Billy\'s. Gary (aka Klingon) is Club Secretary and works for Billy at the shop. I am Treasurer. Some other Club members who are also in NESA are - Dave Thompson; Bob Scott; Ian Simmonds; Bob Lydon ( he who wears VERY WHITE shirts on nights out!) + Geordie Charlton.

We have a website too - see Links in NESA.

Our AGM is this Thursday if you do join. We will be meeting in The Fusilier, Forest Hall for 7.30 start.

Any more info wanted just get in touch.
So long and thanks for all the fish! (www.lsbsac.co.uk)

The Club comps for 2004 are almost completed now. The new comps start Jan 2005. Presentation of trophies etc for 2004 comps is to be made in Feb 2005. Hope this helps.

Bri You are right, he is my other partner in fishing!!! WE were over at the port of Carslile the other week & were having a sniff through the Silloth Sunday market/ boot sail,, we came across a stall selling thermal hats that are double insulated and on the fold up, if you know what I mean is printed !!!\'\'\' POWER STORM SERIOUSLY SEA.. I hope this commes out right!! so Me & paul bought one& Coza did\'nt , so Coza is now well peed off ! cos he\'s not part of Team Power Storm,, I/ We know its daft, but a hat is a hat,,,, thinking on!! would it not be poss for an NESA hat ???? a hat with the badge all ready stitched on to it,& iff poss it kind of shines/ reflects in the dark, so the next time I walk past Jim (Willy Wet Egg) at least I know & he Knows we ar on this site,, ????

Hats pre-printed with the site logo..........perhaps something to sort for the future ;0).......in the meantime (as Alan suggests), you can continue to buy NESA badges and sew them onto whatever style of hat you prefer.
                    Badges available from Billys (I think they\'re still £1.50 + 50p postage)

Also (possibly) still available direct from Titan for the same price:

Tony would it be possible to get some badges along for the comp for anyone that wants to buy them. I suppose we could do the same as last year and order them. Would I have to see Billy and bring them with me as this would not be a problem. Let me know mate.

                      Jim.

                        Could do, Jim.

I think I sold all the ones I brought down last time.

Suppose you could get \'em on a \"sale or return\" basis from Billy....just take back any that don\'t sell.

If I remember rightly, I charged the going price for them (£1.50), but added the pp cost (50p) to them. The additional 50p went to the RNLI.

Nobody minded the extra 50p .....infact most people paid a £3 or £4 for them and said to add the change in the RNLI element.
