  • Missing cod

Fished the hall beach tonight perfect conditions se roll coming in , caught two codling on blacks. When i,ve gutted them they have been both crammed full of sand eel , maybe this is the reason the cod aren,t showing in good numbers this year. Just wondering if anyone else has seen this .

I did, my mate pulled out a fish of about 3lb with a live sandeel still in its mouth so i tipped off my next bait with it and got a 2lber
