        You have any of the little dock from around 30/35yrs ago m8. I used to work on the Francis William (Jacky Mosses) cobble & wouldn't mind a picture to show the kids............lol

                            it would be good to see some pics of the blast when ken fox used to run the famous seaham open it was shoulder to shoulder.and the chems when the black slurry stream used to run down the beach.

                                IIRC Kennys record was 2002 anglers. Most I remember when I fished was 1350 odd in 1988 or 1989, that was the year BBC Newcastle filmed the open for its Peculiar Obsession series. We were packed like sardines, as you say John literally shoulder to shoulder.

                                I can't remember seeing the old photos of the pier when the club were in Clifford House, mind you that was 25 years ago
