Congratulations to Jim and well done to all those who took part, but the result has had me thinking (a very bad thing) being stuck at work on a 12 hour nightshift wasn't that bad after all.
Nothing makes a fish bigger than almost being caught

Great turn out and big well done to Jim for what must be one of the most expensive 2lb Codlings in the North East...good to see the Trophy come home too

as to the fishing - that's me for the season I think, dire doesn't put it into words...seriously dissillusioned with it at present

Well done Jim. I fished druridge and got 7 flatties but all between 20 and 26cms apart from the one I weighed in which was over 30. My mate (clarky) had 3 flatties and a rockling, all undersize. If only one more of them fish were sized the trophy should have stayed where it belonged. Saying that well done north team - spit lol

Nice to see some of the lads I haven't seen for a while although couldn't meet everyone like I would have liked to. Even though it sound corny maybe next time we could have a little intro so we can all put names to faces. Didn't want to ask everyone what they were called on nesa

I'm confused, who actually weighed fish in for the north side?
            Cheers, Keith.

I know Kingfisher & Youngsteve weighed in a codling a piece but think there must have been one more - I'm waiting to see if the full result gets posted.
