      well done jim, fished cullercoats south side had a gud fish pulled me rod off it's rest got it with in 20 yards and it snagged up!! after tryin to give it line i went for s@!t or bust and lost the lot, walked off the rocks with a very light fishing box. Lookin forward to next 1.

        Jim's Monster cod!!!!

        A cracking result for us Jim, well done I fished alongside codman40, Graham, S/Sluice(Astley Arms), he managed 2 undersize tommy's, me blanked again, but I still enjoyed the event, and meeting a few of the lads, ganna use me bait up on the pier this afternoon h/t, thanks everyone for organing the match, Cheers lads an lasses!!!!!

                    Yeah well done jim, that fish was worth alot of money. Ivan the proper lads were out tnite, top geordie team. Next yr you hopefully can help boost our bag to take the silver wear home again.

                        Well done jim and to all that fished especially the north lads for bringing the trophy home, i fished goaties for the first 2 hours lost 2 fish on second and third cast then not a touch for the rest of the night but enjoyed the night.
                        A big thanks to stores and sless for organizing the night.

                          Thanks lads, much appreciated, thanks to all of you that turned up too as a comp can only be as good as the people that support it. It was a really good turn out at a time when there hasn't been a lot brought to the scales. It is always a popular night and I am sure that there would be a few that fished a new mark and also a few that made new friends. Well done to all for making it a good night.

                            Well done to Jim, i was up Hadston with Kela66 & Tonynufc & Paulg they all had tiddlers but i blanked but enjoyed the night and good to see the Trophy where it belongs!

                                Never known such a difficult night. I had loads of bites but I couldn't get the buggers out. Ended up with one just undersize, shame as well as it was a big fat bugger lol.

                                Well done Jim, and great to see such a good turn out for this years event.
                                To get away from dragons and catch monsters.
