Well done Jim, me Tank & Caster Troy fished Cullercoats then moved onto the river around 9pm. I snagged 1 at Cullercoats & lost it, Tank got a small codling in the river & Caster Troy got a codling just under size from the river.

              I believe it was

I had 6 fish, but sadly none of them were longer than my hand.

I did have a slack liner and summit that felt fairly heavy before it let go.

Just got in, had a quick wash and poured a Captain Coke and I am absolutely nackered lol. When I got back to the car park for the weigh in earlier and walked over with my fish I really thought everyone was winding me up when they said I had the heaviest fish. When they said I also had the heaviest bag I was really stunned as I thought there would be at least a couple of decent fish tonight.

Nice to meet a few new people tonight, sorry I didn't meet everyone though but fifty odd people is a lot to get round lol. It was also nice to see a few faces that I haven't seen for a while with not being able to fish very often now. I hope to meet a few more of you next time we have a comp.

Well done to the lads from north of the Tyne, David, make sure you polish that trophy regularly so it is nice and shiny on Sless's mantle piece next year mate Well done to all that turned out too, not sure of the exact number but fifty odd is not to shabby at all. Well done to David and Graham for sorting the teams out too.

I will have that fish cooked for lunch tomorrow and I bet it is the sweetest tasting fish that I will ever eat lol.

Carl, it was caught on your rig mate, I had been using a scratching rig all night until Keith got slack lined by a decent fish before it dropped it again. I got that one out straight away and loaded it with lots of Lug and it did the business, Keith says it was well hooked too. Unfortunately I lost it a couple of casts later so keep your eyes on your PM box

Cheers for the good crack Keith and James, and thanks to both of you for making my box lighter for walking back up the beach

                        Jim.
