todays sea

does anyone no if the seas dropped off any? i went to seaham hall beach last nite and was just getting washed back in. a live 20 mile inland so its a trip for nowt a cud do without! cheers

Hi Nev, If you go into "sea state" just above "all our yesterdays", and "catch reports" ,click on webcams and have a look at "live webcams north shields east" click on streamed for a live view of the harbour, which will let you see if the sea is coming over the piers, and give you an idea of the conditions. You can also click on webcams to the right of streamed and view other places around the uk and the world. hope this helps you.

Just had run down the coast road at shields and sea has flattened off, still a nice swell rolling in, coming over at the blocks on shields pier still a couple of hours before top water. Conditions look spot on exept for the blazing sunshine! Road conditions in shields are'nt to bad but the estate roads are a lot worse.
