Whitley beach fished really well last week. The half moon rocks was a good shot (south end of beach). I don't know how this fishes during daylight. I would have said have a shot on Whitley pipe through the day at low water, but I doubt you will get on as it's a small tide. You could try the prom at St Marys at high water and go onto the island itself when the causeway shows. Good luck whatever though Daz

Fish into the gully called West Bay, to the north west of StMary’s casting west. This is a low water mark and the flooding tide cuts it off before the main rocks are covered so watch your retreat. I prefer to fish it on the dropping tide anyway. It’s best to fish it when the sea is rough, the rocks are sheltered.
If the sea is calm, the island mark north of the toilets can fish well as soon as you can get across the causeway. At high, calmish water, wander north under the cliffs for a few hundred yards until you reach flat rocks called the Bibles which is also worth a try.
                    Good luck

don't mean the odd fish, i mean a good bag of good sized fish, used to be very popular at one time with a good sea running four or five good sized fish could be taken.
