  • BEST WAY 2 KEEP BAIT?

    Whats my best way 2 keep rag and lug 4 a week?
    peat, water????

    if its fresh and you keep a eye on it it might last a week in the vermiculite,if you cant keep it in a fridge put it in a dark spot in the shed or garage the temp is dropping all the time now so they should last longer,you can also keep them in sea water as well but check them regular a pump might help as well.

      so if i keep them in my shed in a container they should be ok 4 up 2 a week? the rag and lug?

        For lug, as long as the temp is low, I normally just keep them in containers with sea water, but not too much. Keep an eye on the colour of the water cos as soon as its not as clear as it should be, sort through the worms cos one of them has probably snuffed it.

        Rag seem to last just as long in moist paper, again, as long as they\'re kept in a cool place

            next time your out fishing fill a couple of 2 ltr bottles,i keep mine in a shallow tray with a bit beachsand in the bottom with about an inch of water,changed every few days,i think it depend what sort of state there in when you buy em as well had some proper crap over the last couple of weeks

              If you\'re going to keep them in water I would try and changei it every day and check for dead worms.

                they will rot if u dont change the water then the manky water is exellent for feeding tomatoes. \"don\'t eat grass when its dead\" tommy cooper 87
