can anyone tell me if the promnade just north of roker is worth fishing over high water as it dont look to bad just thought id ask before i tried it

That area is known as Cat and Dog steps, ive only fished it on a low water but when i was on the beach there was plenty of fishy looking holes that could hold fish over high water. I would say it was medium ground as the holes you would fish into are only of depth of 1-3 foot deep, that said i fish into very rough ground so my idea of clean may differ from others. Usually thows a fish or 2 out.

i tried there today just down from Cat and Dogs (whitburn side)
Didnt get a sniff.. there was around 20 of us on the beach fishing in total and no one got anything.
It was very shallow, i could wade out 30 yards at low water.
I think the middle of the beach, or the rocky part towards the pier is the better place, especially for Bass.My Weapons of Choice
