I was on the pier from lunchtime until about 6pm, had one little coalie and one codling of about 1.5lb. Lots of small rattles but nothing coming in otherwise, droves of people leaving and only a few left by the time I packed in and I saw nothing else caught, very poor, be suprised if the beach was any different. I was chucking rag, runnydown and razor out on 2 rods, tried both the seaward side and into the river/bay behind the pier.
