i enjoyed the show even if he does come across as a screaming idiot, that said he is an actor, and doing a bad job of pretending to fish.
wooden mind doing it mesel though, different locationsevery week for 2 or 3 months paid for it and doing some fishing also, not bad if ya can get that type of work.

I'm speechless - is this what it has come to? Bigging up one of the North East of England's most embarrassing exports and an example of everything that is wrong with angling (and acting, and celebrity chart success), because there's nowt better on the telly. Good God watching this abomination adds to the viewing figures, his wedge and the chance of similar shoite being foisted on us in the future.

I'm starting to believe Mr. Green is representative of our sport. If that's the case - 15 years and angling's banned, maybe not a bad thing, apart from the fact that there'll be a few more knuckle draggers on the streets once the piers have been shut down.

Did anyone watch his last effort, was no one concerned about the way he ****ed about with fish, spouted such gems as "If you put them back they die anyway" and treated the whole sport as some kind of egofest. Our kid witnessed the gimma giving it the full "Do you know who I am ..." bit, not so long ago outside of a night club (there was about 8 people in the normal queue at the time - ****!)

it's only a t.v show, if you don't like the bloke switch over and if you have sky you have another 995 channels of crap to choose from.
