Fished into the estuary on Monday tea timeone, hour up and an hour and a half down, next to the old life boat station. Plenty of rattles on lug worm but only one decent flounder landed for my troubles. It was really comfortable fishing instead of facing into a biting N/E wind.

Decided to try the same place tonight & blanked, not even a knock & a load of junk floating in the river & getting thrown onto the prom as the waves crashed over.

yup that was me, I've just come in from a quick dodge to Cullercoats to see who's about and about. Some hardy soul's stood on the end of the south pier, had a look at the prom below the white house, sea looks cock on, but nobody fishing the corner by the steps.
