heavy ground mono and poundage

hi im wondering what mono and poundage are people using for very rough ground and with or without a rubbing leader thanks garry36

30lb ultima F1, seems a little more resistant to abraision than others i have tried, only suitable for short lobs though.

diawa sensor 30lb, used it for years and it's as tuff as hell, it's also a reasonable price

Ultima Red Ice 30lb. Thicker than the standard Ultima F1 so it's less prone to abrasion and also very easy to see in the dark due to being bright red.

diawa sensor 25lb line is awesome for the rocks i think 30lb is too thick and you loss alot of distance from your cast

30lb Suffix with a 60lb leader - copes with just about anything mate!

I don't mind the 30 lb Diawa sensor and I used the 30 lb Red Ice for years with no problems but I usually use the 35 lb F1 now, it really is good. The only problem I have is snapping it when I'm in a snag as it is so strong, and my ballance is very poor now so I have to be careful with it or I'll end up on me ass lol.

65lb braid

i have been useing 65 lb braid for 5yr now when fishing heavy ground and will never use mono again my fish lose has gone down by over 75% bite detection is second to none i use a abu 7500 and a penn 535

Trilene, greylon 40lb or penn premium 30lb. All clear lines and tough as old boots especially with a 80lb ultima leader tied with a bimini hitch.

I use Penn Surf 35lb on one reel and 30lb red ice on another.

If it is very heavy ground I use the 35lb, if it's not so heavy, the 30lb.

alrite mate do u not get any probs using braid as wanted to try it on one of my multiplyers? use it on fixed spools and on my multi for boat fishin and would never go back, but thought castin it off a multi would be asking for trouble was told by another angler to use 80lb braid on a multi??
