I've got a couple that I use for clean ground fishing & love them - far better than any of the Abu 6500's. I've also tried them over mixed / snaggy ground & they've coped ok, but prefer an SL20 or 525 type reel here as one thing the 7HT's aren't is winches. Fill them with 15lb line and they'll fly - the mag system works really well & in fact the harder you thrash them the better they seem to go! Just be careful if you do a gentle lob though as the mags won't kick in - you've got to rely on your good old thumb for braking here.
