    gona be going out in the next few days between seaham and hendon. any advice on a decent mark thats gona be fishable in this weather if the wind keeps up. iv just joined seaham club aswel so wudnt mind giving the pier a bash sumtime shortley. any 1 kno how its been fishing lately.

    i wudnt fish seaham pier quite yet till these big seas has dropped off too dangerous but from there to hendon prom are mostly cliff marks or beach so take care where ever you decide

      Theres been an odd fish coming from the south end of Hendon prom,weather permitting.
      Loads of rubbish in the water at the moment.
      Never heard of owt from the Hall beach or the cliffs at Ryhope...

        ended up giving the south end of hendon a bash today an hour and a half before high tide. didnt stay long, far to much sh**e been kicked up off the tide. packed up and had a drive thru to smiths dock on the tyne. waste of time, blankety blank.

          you could try yhe high ledge or rathouse corner if the water is too big.ryhope dene or 2nd or 3rd bay at hendon when it starts to drop off,you wont be able to get on the pier for they are digging the road up so there is going to be no access, the docks are going to try to get it opened temperaraly for the easington open this weekend you will have to contact the club to find out when it will be open again.
