  • It's Huge!

A lot of the snow had miraculously melted in my street today, so I could finally get the car out with ease. I'd seen the forecast and knew it would be wild, but due to cabin fever I said to myself "stuff it, I'll have a go". I got down to Seaburn at about 4 and couldn't beleive my eyes. The sea was absolutely huge - white water pretty much as far as the eye could see. I parked up and got out of the car, then went into the boot for my waders (neoprene - not exactly light). I put them down for no more than 5 seconds and the wind picked them up and chucked them across the road. Luckily there wasn't any traffic on the road. If Morrisons hadn't of been there I'd probably still be chasing them now! At this point I promptly got back in the car and headed home with my tail between my legs. If that sea doesn't bring the fish in, nothing will.
