    taking me son down the river tomorrow morning north or south ?? church bank or st peters any1 been fishing that way lately??

    Best of luck Mick, as usual with kids he is sure to show you how lol. Keith and I fished by the ice house a couple of weeks or so ago and it was quiet, the Tyne can change on every tide though. Let us know how you get on mate.

      hi mick, if you pop up to the right hand side of spillers anywhere along the railings up to the ouseburn mouth you and the bairn will be into fish. its been alive lately with loads of small codling, and lots of good sized flounders. if you go for the flatties try tipping off with a bit macky strip. best of luck bud korky.

        fished st peters on tues n managed 7small codlin n 2 flounder all codlin caught on lug didnt matter if was top or bottom hook n flounder all came on rag on bottom hook

            Aye its hard to put up with the cold even with all the proper gear .baiting up is the worst part ,having to take your hands out of nice warm pockets bbbbrrrrrrrrrrrrr..goin down to the tyne in the morning put on catch report if we catch oot..
