  • death of an angler

i was shocked by the death of this lad yesterday evening, i don't know his name and i have never met him but that doesn't matter, he was one of us, a fellow north eastern sea angler, i was quite moved by all the post i have read it just goes to show that when something serious happens and it don't get any more serious than this, all the banter, moaning, winging and general chit chat is totally forgotten, and by reading your post i could see that all our hearts go out to his family, sadly he isn't the first angler to be lost on our coast and he certainly won't be the last ,lads when we fish during the winter months at times it can be downright dangerous, big seas, terrible weather if there is one little bit of doubt in your mind when fishing a mark don't, that elusive cod is just not worth it.
