    Lads can anyone tell me the general differences between these reels?
    Weapons of choice
    Yuki Q6
    Penn Surfblaster 7000
    Yuki Pro Surf
    Penn Surfblaster 7000

    2016- Plaice, Dab, Flounder, Mackerel, Coalie, short spined Scorpion fish, Dogfish, Pouting, Whiting
    2017- Whiting, Codling, Coalie, Flounder, Turbot, Plaice, Bass, Pouting, Ballen Wrasse, Corkwing wrasse

    Few more bearings in the affinity and that's about it mate.

      Not worth swapping/upgrading your surfblasters for if thats what your thinking

        Agree with Liam if your looking at upgrading pay the extra for a spinfisher 7500lc superb reels for the money

          I have an affinit'y 7000,cracking reel for clean ground use imo,but for u lad s fishing the ruff would be better with the spinfisher,built like a tank....

            Never used a surf blaster but Just bought an affinity 7000 ltd black fished the river last night lovely smooth reel, couldn't fault it.

                  No mate. Not the reel that causes line twist, make sure you use the right size swivel and that should normally see you ok.

                      I got the 8000 Surfblaster from Penn and it spot on .Pulled a 9lb Cod in ne bother when we were in Norway.
