    Heading over balcary on Easter weekend for the day is it to early for Rays what can I expect to catch ?? Or any tips on some were to go willing to travel 100 miles or so

        The Flat rock is not renowned for Rays.I have seen and heard of an odd one from there,but you will catch 30 LSD,s for every Ray.
        Give it another few weeks and try Torrs point at the mouth of Kirkcudbright bay.
        Theres not many Dogs there as well.

          The earliest ive had rays from balcary is march 22nd which also was my biggest of 12lb 10oz also had up to 10 rays in aday there into double figures

            Mind I fished Torrs point last year and it was heaving with Doggies, I must have caught it on a bad day. Big uns as well.
