            All I can say is that there was sweet fanny adams at Newton! Well done on the result Boz mate, & too all who managed to catch. Good turnout too considering the conditions.

              fished bog hall, fishing was patchy. I got blasted for pendulum style.....oops

              phil done really well, I was fishing along side him when he got that 7lb 11oz cod in. came on the north east corner first cast. ( within about a minute)
              then another 2!


              majority of fish on ebb


              wasnt my day, it was the first time I fished bog hall.

                amble open

                congratz to the winners. i got up this mornin loaded most of the stuff into the car last thing i was sorting out was the bait before puttin it in tackle box and into the car, bluddy worms were dead/generally past it, i had even got a lend of me dad's 4x4. this was gona be me first competition aswell anyways nevermind i joined amble sac the other week so next weekend i will be out catching cod/(cold?)haha, never know i might get into the journal!!!!.

                  Well done all, my plans went up the spout so never fished. Not that long ago when there would have been at least 500 in this match. Numbers well down in the opens now.

                      Have you got the full results Tony. Had a look on the ASAC website, but can't find em.....Poor weigh in considering the conditions on the previous day.
                      I was out for a walk with the missus and the dog on Saturday and the sea was mountainous down at Longhoughton.

                      Well done to Norma!

                          Was very hard work fishing on sun, 1 bite, 1 fish hooked and lost. Boz ya jammy last cast again lol and how much did it weigh? You was tenth mate just checked out the amble club website, canny site i must say.

                            i rounded it up to 5lb 1oz 3/4, but i rounded it up to 5lb 2oz ;D

                            it was hard indeed mate. always a last cast wonder at that mark mate lol
                            i recon you lost a canny one by the way you had to pump.

                            getting better, in the top ten the past few opens (4th heaviest fish in last 2 opens as well), just a shame i cant do the same in our club comps! lol
