  • Shore Venues

    Hello Everyone

Was recommended to come here and ask.
Our club, based in Glasgow, are looking to take a trip down to NE for a club outing. Myself and a friend are coming down tomorrow to look at possible venues. Any suggestions would be appreciated. The criteria are
It can hold 15 to 25 anglers
    Not be Junior unfriendly
    Be North of Newcastle
    Suitable parking
Some fish would be a bonus

    Cheers
    Dragonnet

It would be for a winter Cod outing. We are planning ahead and looking for venues for next October/November. Most of our Cod outings are over fairly Rough. Also our outings are not pegged so the boundries are quite flexible.

          Thanks Jim
The email should prove usefull. I think we are going to have a try at Cullernose. I assume its a low water mark and then take a look and some of the other places you mentioned. We might also make a day of it and give the Tyne a bash in the dark before heading home

Have a click on the \"Main Site\" link on the left and then \"Maps\" and you get some good photos and write ups on the marks up the coast.

Thanks for the help and te pointers to the maps. We seen a couple of good possible venues, around Cullernose and Newton. Unfortunately the seas were too big to fish. We gave the north side of St Marys a bash for a few hours but only one Codling resulted.
