    Hi everyone
Myself and a few mates are planning on a couple of days away mid April. We were thinking west coast of Scotland. One of the lads has mentioned loch Ryan but have read some bad reports recently. Also the usual marks like balcary have also had bad reports. Has anyone got any advice on marks over there ??? Is it even worth the trip ???

Thanks fellas. I would rather go when there's a chance for more species so I think we will have to rearrange for a better time.

Any time from mid June to the end of October is your best shot.
I,v had my biggest Conger and Pollack in October when a lot of people think the season is finished over there.
