  • Sorry Ell but they could have said no.
Hope that doesn\'t put any other tackle dealers off from donating in future mate.

          • Andy,

            Aye it\'s the 26th m8.......

Here are the rest of the details, as posted by Jim, previously.......

Right here we go the comp will be as follows

Meet at the Rendezvous car park 7:00-7:30pm for registration

            Lines in 8:00pm.

            Lines out 11:00pm.

            Weigh in at 11:45 prompt.

As no one seems to have a problem with IanW\"s idea of £10:00 entrance fee that is what it will be. Half going to the R.N.L.I. and the rest going in prize money. So some one is going to have a canny night lol. Hopefully we might be able to get a bit of a prize table between us also.

Boundaries of comp. Tynemouth pier excluding any part of the pier to the peeping tom rocks inside Blyth West pier.

            Number of hooks allowed 2.

And finally fish. All fish presented at the weigh in must be in size according to the NFSA minimum size limits.

Anyone else that is a bit shy about joining the comp, do it. That is how I met and made some good friends last year as I had only been on the board for about a month and i blanked lol. So if you are a bit worried about making a pillock of your self don\"t be. You could be arranging next years comp lol.
I will be bringing a few copies of fish size limits on the night so if your not sure ask for one.

                • Ian there will be a prize for heaviest Bag 1st and heaviest single fish 2nd. Thanks to Tony for reposting the rules and Alan for the two maps.
I must mention that the small concrete jetty leading to the peeping toms is out of bounds as it is illegal to fish from there.
Anyone that is not sure where to fish don\'t worry just ask on the night as there will be plenty of people that you can tag along with as it is still a fun comp.
Anyone that is still wondering about turning up because they do not know anyone, get yourself there as it is a good chance to make some new friends and find some new places to fish.

                  Jim.

                  • God help the whiting that night then.

Just get uneasy atthought there maybe a load of small fish taken just for the weigh in which would have otherwise went back.
As my dad used to say....Man who go to bed with itchy bum......wake up with stinky finger!!!

                    • I can see where you are coming from Ian but I think it is the fairest way to do it. Most comps are sorted that way and I would hope that there are more fish to weigh than last year mate. Wouldn\'t mind seeing a big bag of Congers mind lol.
As long as everyone remembers that it is STRICTLY NFSA size limits.
If you think it is small throw it back. Don\'t want any strops at the weigh in lol.

                      Jim.
