Going up the west coast for a week at the end of the month, and fancy trying to target some haddock from the shore. (had my appetite whetted by there mention elsewhere, thanks chaps)
I\'ve had one before up there, more by chance than owt else, but whilst talking to one of the the older inhabitants last tiem we were there, he told me tales of a spot where they used to catch em as kids.
Now the kids bit probably kills it there and then as they have probably all been hoovered up, but fancy having bash anyroad.
his technique, he described as a foot long piece of fencing wire, hook tied on each end and mainline tied in the middle and loads of big fat lug.
now that\'s probably a bit technical for me, so what bait/rig \'might\' help me out??
