Fished Cowbar top last night, 150ft up into very rough ground. Used cannylinks instead of gemini rotters and was sold on them from the start, 100% sinker release. Had to slightly adjust hook connection but that was no biggy, just a little nip with pliers and they were perfect. Very good product.

Alan you were nearly right, I dont think there is such a place as East Yorkshire its actually North Yorkshire, I was fishing the cliff top between Cowbar (Staithes) and Boulby, the cliffs vary in hieght from about 100ft and 300-350 ft. It can be fantastic fishing but if you get into a big fish you do have a struggle getting it up(not for the faint hearted or weak armed). Fished there the other night and got a nice 4lb\'er but also snagged two big lumps of kelp, I thought my arms were going to break by the time I got it to the top.

Hi alan, I make do with what I\'ve got which are a highlander, nemesis plus combined with abu 9000 and a slosh30 and a lot of elbow grease.
The lads at flamborough, fish the cliff tops with ali poles about 15-20ft long with what looks like the biggest boat reel you could ever imagine.
It can be very hard work but it can also be worth it, if you get that really big fish you have two choices:-1)cut your line and kiss it goodbye, 2) tie your line off to a sand spike or something and walk round at low water to collect it. Other people fish them differently to me, but its all about choice
