  • Tear in Imax Floatation

Can anyone suggest how you repair a 6 inch tear in this new suit? I tried duck tape but just comes off when you move and that.

God can't believe it's done this after 1 month.

What I would do is find someone local that does clothing repairs and take it to them, it shouldn't cost much at all. If they are good you will hardly be able to see it. You will probably need to water proof it again though.

Has it ripped along the seam? if so could you not take it back as a manufacture problem?
If it's just a rip a clothing shop will mend it. I had 1 done a long time ago, they cut it open from the inside and glued a patch on and then glued both sides of the rip to the patch then stitched the inside back up, was a cracking job and hardly noticable and remained waterproof

Thought about an Imax but stuck with Sundridge-lovely suit mk 5.

When my old Penn suit used to wear and tear I managed to "weld" the holes in the salopettes with superglue.

If you can't suss another method then this may work on the material your suit is made of...?
