Just a quick query to those lads who regularly fish Shields pier......
Any idea what the numbers represent ??
They are often referred to as fishing marks (eg the 44), but I can\'t believe that they were put there for that purpose. If that WERE the case, then using some of the lower number marks, youd be casting onto the little beach......even at H/W.
