Has anybody used one of these on rough ground? Just looking for a first hand review before I wax the credit card on one.
I've decided to go all fixed spool next year as every dish I've had this season has been landed on my Hong Kong eBay coffee grinder. Also I'm a tart and the akios just looks so pretty...

Which Big Fixed Spool Reels For Braid And Long Casting ?

I just got a fox diablo on the back of this review. Seem mega strong and reliable and you can get for £50 instead of £120 at glasgow angling centre.

Cheers mate, you're right the first thread doesn't paint a good picture of the scora. 50 quid down from 120 for the Diablo is nice to see as well-definitely will have a closer look at those

paid 90quid new for my scora 100 brand new incuded postage and this included postage.

the reel itself is very smooth and the spare spool the braid one you get holds more line than the usual braid spools which i find are not deep enough.

fishing over mixed ground i found mine fine wth no rocking asociated on f/spool but never tried over proper rough ground wth fish on.

casting wise cant fault them.

I've used a Scora 100 this season with 40lb braid. Had cod up to 6 pound in heavy ground without issue. I'm thinking of using it boat fishing this summer. £80 from ebay delivered.
