  • That time of year again

Just to let you know that I've just posted off some books to Lewis' who are kindly stocking them. Have had quite a few internet orders of late but it's good to have it back in the shops.

Always a good stocking filler David, well if you have funny shaped legs it is

Anyone that has not had the pleasure of reading David's book The Codling Crouch I can say that it is a great read, informative and also humorous, I still think about that trifle and smile I haven't heard one person say they didn't really enjoy it.

    Jim.

They must be red stocking though I am sure there is a few dog eared copies that need replacing now.

do you not fancy sending a couple of copys up for the northumbrian open with your sealed weights for them, just like the first time you sent them.as i dont run the open anymore you wil need the address to send them to.if you can spare them that is,they will be a good prize for anyone especially when its a sealed weight by yourself.send a pm and i will send the address to you thanks.ps when is next volume out,as first was very good and am sure you have more secrets too tell .

Funnily enough Steve there's been a right argument on WSF about giving away info about marks. I said my bit (in a very dignified and non argumental way lol) and now it appears to have been pulled.

Keep going back to the book. It draws you back like a magnet. For those of you who dont have a copy. GET ONE NOW. I got two copies when they first appeared and I asked Dave to sign one for me(which he did). The other copie was for a friend ( he never got it) I keep the signed copy in a sealed plastic folder and is in mint condition. You never know what it will be worth to my great grand children.
