try the old beach its the one on the left hand side from seaham pier there shouldnt be many fishing down there and sometimes it can produce the odd nice fish
I fished that beach in last years Easington Open and it looked like a gud mark, was a building sea from the south east i think and was hoping for some fish but wasnt to be. Theres a nice flat platform at the base of the cliffs at the north end but i wouldnt fish it in a big sea cos theres no where to run to if a biggie rolls in. Your fishing into mixed too rough ground aswell.
