There is another variant on this theme for £19. This one is even better as the main beam is a little bit more defused and the LED's are set to a downward angle which makes it very illuminating. Is mentioned earlier in the thread. Even more impressed with this one. It has a sensible main beam (not adjustable) rather than a 'bat' beam.

Was talkin with mate at work and he has bought a few bits from round the world an he seems to think it may be held back at post office until duty is paid.
Just depends upon who sees it through system an what kind of mood they're in apparently. Some parcels get past some get stopped. Bet mine is one stopped. Apparently they offer you service of sorting payment out for you by fillin in all documents etc. but it can cost more than goods in bloody parcel. He's even left some parcels with post office and just reordered them because of cost, and next parcel has arrived no problems?

If that had happened you'd have had a chit through the door saying you owe the Royal Mail x amount in pounds/pence - happened to me when I bought some T Shirts from the States once...they do it automatically too without giving you an option

also got mine today after waiting about 3 weeks, and for the price i've paid it seems to be money well spent, very bright, the beam is fantastic managed to light up chimney stack bout 150yards + away, very happy with it and can't wait to try it properly when out fishing when its pitch black and can't see any body complaining about it
