  • Greys apollo mk 1 prototype rod

Hi, I'm in possession of the above rod, which I bought second hand from a seemingly trusworthy lad who assured me it was a genuine article. However I no longer use it and I am thinking of selling it. What I need to know......does anyone have any info on these rods as there is no 'logo' on it to prove it is a Greys apollo. As it is a prototype would there be a logo on it anyway ?
I am thinking of selling it either privately or on e-bay, but obviously I need to be careful as to how I phrase the advert. Anyone with any information about how to tell if it is a Greys or not, can they please give me their advice. It certainly has the look and feel of a mark 1 apollo. but I would need to be sure.
The rod itself is basicaly in good condition. Anyone know roughly what its worth ?
    Many thanks..................BAZACODBASHA

What colour is the blank?just that the apollo mk1 had a bluey/green tint to it.Your rod may be similar.

to a collector it might be worth something but i would think without any markings on its value would be a lot lower than normal, maybe wrong but good luck mate

Mk1 ones were fine. It's the Mk2's that snapped! A bad batch or whatever. Then again any rod will snap if u abuse it.
