Took my youngest down as hes been asking for months to go fishing hes only 5 so got him well wrapped up and headed off to roker pier stopped at the first set of stairs casting into the harbour. Spent most of the morning showing him how to catch and reel in. Anyway he had quite a few decent bites on the small rod he was using. We both watched his rod tip bend over then he dived on his rod faster than i could say you have a bite. He was saying it was heavy when he was reeling it in. As i looked into the water i could see a small witing coming in i thought class hes at least gonna see a fish even though its small but it slapped of the side of the pier and swam away. any way after about an hour and a half he was getting bored so took him home and i headed off to seaham spiles was there till about half 4 and got 2 pin whiting didnt see much get caught all day was pretty poor !!!
target of 10 codling this season and gonna try for a pig!!!!1

    Cheers Justin
