  • Hendon Docks

After doing a bit of research im still struggling to find info on fishing the docks, yes i know its tresspassing but it is somewhere i would like to fish. I dont want replies telling stories of ''i heard......'' facts only please. i would like to know where abouts people fish (just a rough idea- i understand people dont want to disclose particular marks) and how you 'get in'. This post may seem a little up front but i have been searching through past posts on the subject and the same thing seems to happen If anyone has any advice they do not wish to post openly then please pm me...... part of me expects this thread to be jammed with replies and the other expects it to lie void of any useful info- or it could even be both

    Cheers in advance,

    Phil

On Hendon Prom sea front where you drive in under the tunnel will see the tanks in the factory to you your left. I have fished on the beach here. When fishing i have seen lads walk along the side of the factory and climb the wall. I watched them from my location. Apparantly its wickked wi fish round the front.
There is a problem though. Its illegal to fish there and you can end up with a £500 fine.
Is it worth the risk-i would say not. Are people really so desperate to catch a fish.
    mick.

why not go down and do a "reccy" on what you want to learn about this mark

watch other anglers access and exit this venue ,or Even ask a real life fisherman on how to fish this mark

you will be amazed on what you can learn by going to the place you want to fish

Smiths Docks on the Tyne was similar in ltd access or non at all some weeks ,but a quick look around in daylight ,you found the cut holes in fencing or the prised apart posts allowing you to get in to fish - or even taking a small set of step ladders to climb over the wall -

but doubt if you will get info on your mark via a public forum ,as the Bods that want to stop you getting on will know where you are about to start - and close it off for all

as mick says .there are loads of cameras along that area so they no when you go on and it is just a case of when they catch you. tank 10 i think is the smaller one in the middle , ther used to be a hollow about 70 yards out , fishing heaven but is it worth it if you get caught.
