  • Silicone stops ?

Which ones do you use ? Am I right in thinking these are the float stops which come in small, medium and large ? Any advise appreciated.

I use the Gemini Neoprene stuff, four below and one above the snood swivel and it won't move unless you get snagged (or a decent fish)

Tronixpro ones are nice and grippy. Some makes have too much silicone and not enough rubber type material in their make up so slide about too easily, even with two or 3 on the line (Ritegear ones are really bad for it). Match the size of stop to the line you're using too and I wouldn't bother trying to get them on line over 60lb as you can overstretch the hole when the line is doubled through the loop to slide them on.
You can also re use them with a fine needle to get them back on the wire

I love them as it can save a lot of faffing positioning new hooklengths for clips, or if you want to fish one up, one down or two up on a flapper.
