  • Sunday Trip

    Hi Lads,

We are thinking about going north of the tyne on Sunday for our 1st trip of the season instead of Sunderland. Does anyone have any suggestions? I've not fished that area of coast many times but i'm desperate for the 1st cod of the season. I was thinking Blyth Pier, or decent rock marks?

Not sure the weather is great like, looks like strong winds

    Any suggestions?

    Cheers

    James

I would try any of the shots on the south bank of the tyne James, at least you will get some shelter from those winds with a fair chance of a fish or two.

Jimmy get yourself to the 3 shelves at Marsden, just below where we fished from the cliff top, nice and sheltered and after the sea has picked up its bound to throw one up.
