Started fishing at Whitburn but the sea was keep bring my tackle in, ended up with a rockling. The worst was that after just casting out I noticed a big wave coming in, so as I was walking back with rod in hand I tripped over a rock & the wave that I was trying to avoid came straight over me.
Decided to move to Roker for the rest of the night.
Lots out fishing but only coalies catching.
I ended up with a coalie of about 1 lb.
Out again on tuesday night, hopefully for cod.
