nah m8 hes supposed to be a border terrier crossed with a lakeland terrier not the pedigree version just a mongrel thing, not really boshed about it though cos hes a great dog to have, bit mental but fun.

great looking dog mate, I am lucky ive got a border terrier a lakeland terrier and a 15 year old yorkie terrier there all indoor dogs and spoilt rotern.

Cheers for the pics of the dog mate, ive just showed my daughter before she went to school and she loves it. do you strip the coat or shave it? on our border we strip it and the same with the lakeland but a few peaple have said we should shave them. you can realy see the border terrier in your dog

we shave him m8 a couple of times a year but we ask the lady who shaves him to leave his eyebrows and beard alone cos he looks better with them.

Yeah they look great with the beard on them, our border we leave the hair on her ears as well the vet says she has never seen a border with the long hair on her ears before she looks like a spaniel at times its so long. I used to take rescue terriers in 15 years ago and some of them needed shaving as there coats were matted up thats why we have the 15 year old yorkie he was one year old when we rescued him and his coat was so matted it knotted his coat up and give him loads of soars on his skin and rashes/burns so there was no option we had to totally shave him but he is a great old dog he has grown up with my daughter and they love each other.

got my dog off my great uncle. he couldnt control him at all and was gonna put him in a rescue home until my mom took him in. hes 7 years old now, doesnt like any other animal but does everything else i tell him too

You done the right thing I used to own pet shops and raised a lot of funds for animal shelters etc and it screws a dogs life up going into a shelter I used to work very close with a few of the shelters and in my spare time help them out as much as I could. its funny my border was fine with other dogs then when she turned 2 she got aracked by another dog and now she hates other dogs appart from ours when she is taken out she stays on a flexi lead weve taken her to a few dog classes and she just didnt enjoy it. my daughter and my dogs are my life there all spoilt rottern. I will see my wife tonight if I can get some pictures added onto this site or if not pm is your email address and I will send youa few pictures of my dogs on. My lakeland terrier has got a cat radiator bed and loves it
