See told you coddy, loads out there on the rough ground, 1-3lbers..they sick of mackerel strip now and heading for your lug baits on shore.

Fished with MickE, Barney and The Great Wallsendo last night. Sea was pretty big and weed was a problem for the first few hours. As low approached the wind died, the rain stopped and the fish came out to play. I managed 3 in 3 casts and a couple of missed bites. MickE managed 2 including H/F at 4lb 2oz. Barney also managed to winkle one out. Tony unfortunately blanked, despite his best efforts.
Was a good night with good craic and a few fish.

Good report mate I nearly came down but ended up at Easington. Exactly the same there wind, rain and weed all eased as tide turned. Started to get a few knocks wound in got snagged snapped rod
