I've got the Tourney Match rod mate and it has brilliant bite detection, plenty of power for such a slim blank puts baits a long, long way! Worth the money for the bite detection and power alone but u need to have good timing and technique to get the best out of it.

I've never cast the Rock but it has a softer Butt apparently but a stiffer mid section but virtually the same fishing tip. It will have enough grunt to fish most fishing situations (esp where distance is needed) but may struggle in the heaviest of kelp. (Thats what i've been told). It would suit most of my styles of fishing tbh.

i have been wanting to know this as well matey.

i had a cast of the 13ft10 match rod the other day, cast well.

i have a sonik 14ft sk4, which copes on light to medium rough ground, struggles to get fish through heavy kelp.
i also have a conoflex enigma nrg, which is for mega rough stuff, can pull the plug out of the sea no probs, but i have been looking for a rod to bridge the gap between the 2 hoping the anyfish anywhere would be the one.

you escaped the shearwater then? haha

I've got Anyfish rock rod and I absolutely love it. It's thin, light great bit detection but stays steady in the wind, is strong and can pump a lead out. Well worth the money and is now my favourite rod
